We're also a member of the Palletforce pallet distribution network. With 20 years of experience, 120 depots across the UK, and Europe’s largest SuperHub.
Being members of these award winning distribution networks, allows Ferryspeed to offer a competitively priced pallet distribution service to businesses throughout the PO postcode area. We can ensure flexibility, trusted delivery and real-time tracking.
Additionally, we can arrange for palletised freight to be collected from any location throughout the UK and delivered wherever required – regardless of whether the collection/delivery points are business or residential addresses.
While membership of Europe’s leading pallet networks allows us to offer comprehensive geographical coverage, customer service and account management is handled by our UK pallet distribution team in Hilsea, Portsmouth. This means that you have a local point of contact with whom to meet, call, and discuss your account.
Pallet Delivery UK and Pallet Collection Services
Whether you require fast UK pallet delivery or would rather use a more cost-effective but slower delivery option, Ferryspeed offers a delivery service to meet your needs. Our standard next day service is available for most of England, Wales and Scotland, with 2 – 3 day transit available for the Scottish Isles, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. We also offer AM, PM, timed and Saturday delivery options (particularly useful for residential deliveries, or UK pallet delivery into Amazon or retailer RDCs).
For non-urgent requirements, we offer an economy delivery service, which typically means 2 – 3 working days.
UK Full Loads and Groupage (Part Loads)
Part and full loads are not distributed via the Palletways or Palletforce networks, but are instead completed using the Ferryspeed fleet of vehicles. We offer a UK-wide service, including deliveries to the Isle of Wight, and the Channel Islands.
As part of our full and part load service, we can deliver to any location nationwide (access permitting), including Amazon locations and RDCs.
UK Pallet Prices
We offer competitive rates for the distribution of single pallets, part loads and full loads with local delivery rates starting from £20 plus VAT. Discounts are often available for multi-pallet consignments (dependent on volume).
All freight is carried according to RHA and CMR Conditions of Carriage, with standard insurance offered at £1,300 per tonne (maximum liability). We can also provide enhanced insurance to protect your freight if this is required – please enquire for further details.
UK Pallet Sizes
The Palletways and Palletforce networks offers prices according to a variety of pallet sizes including mini quarter, quarter pallets, half, light and full pallets. This means that you can select the size that best reflects the weight and height of your freight, and don’t have to pay any more than necessary. Many of our customers consolidate their parcel deliveries to a single consignee onto a pallet, and benefit from cheaper mini quarter pallet or quarter pallet rates.
In terms of the pallet footprint, we offer rates for euro, standard and oversize pallets, up to a maximum of 1,200kg in weight.
Technology
The Palletways network utilises innovative real-time Track and Trace technology, which allows you to enter jobs onto our system, and then monitor the progress of these consignments. The Palletforce network uses award winning AI technology for live updates and full visibility. What’s more, our cloud-based portal can send your customer a text or email on the day of delivery, notifying them of the expected delivery time. No more missed deliveries or re-delivery charges!

Our online proof of delivery and track and trace features make sending your palletised freight through our European pallet network as easy as sending a pallet to a UK address.

Amazon Deliveries, UK and Europe
The Palletways pallet delivery UK network is an Amazon approved haulier, meaning that we can arrange for your individual pallet consignments, full and part loads to be booked in and delivered to any Amazon regional distribution centre throughout the UK or Europe. As part of this service, we will ask you to enter all of the information required by Amazon (including the ASIN) onto the Palletways portal, before arranging collection from your premises. The local delivery depot will then deliver your goods into Amazon as part of a daily consolidated load.
